Barb Smith is a College Official, who for the last 25 years has worked at the Division 1 NCAA Women’s College Basketball level. She has worked in the Big Ten, SEC, Big East, American, Mid-American, Horizon, Summit and Missouri Valley Conferences.  She’s worked numerous conference tournaments, and worked the NCAA tournament for the last 20 years which has included 4 Final Four appearances. She also worked in the WNBA for 10 years. She works numerous college officiating camps in the summer to help develop new talent.

Brad Pierson is an Assistant Director of Sports Medicine and Associate Head Athletic Trainer at the University of Toledo. Pierson works directly with the women’s basketball program, and also oversees the graduate assistant athletic trainers covering track & field and men’s and women’s cross country programs. Pierson came to Toledo after spending two years at MAC member Eastern Michigan University, where he was the primary athletic trainer for the men’s basketball, crew and women’s volleyball teams.

Dr. Melissa Richardson was the first athlete at her high school offered a Division I scholarship.  She went on to attend Manhattan college on a D1 full ride scholarship to play Basketball and graduated with honors in 1988. She was accepted to Philadelphia college of Osteopathic Medicine and graduated with a dual medical degree and an MBA in medical administration from St Joseph's University, which she attended at the same time as medical school. She was the first female to complete this program. She moved to Michigan in 1993 after graduation and completed a 5 year internship and residency in General Surgery with Michigan State University at Botsford Hospital outside of Detroit. She has practiced in the Lansing area as a General Surgeon for the past 21 years.

Faithe Ways is the Assistant Athletic Director of Compliance at Central Michigan. She is responsible for day-to-day compliance activities in CMU Athletics and leads the department in education, monitoring, enforcement, and maintenance of NCAA rules.

Tera Albrecht serves as Central Michigan’s Associate Athletics Director for Student-Athlete Services. Albrecht serves as the academic advisor for men's & women's basketball, track & field, cross country, field hockey and softball. She is also the primary liaison for admissions and orientation for all incoming student-athletes.
